1.
On Thursday, updated Apple TV HD (with first generation Siri remote) and
Apple TV 4K, first gen, to tvOS 16.3.
2.
After updating Apple TV HD (with Siri remote) to tvOS 16.3, discovered that
VoiceOver click & touch
Better off using the two-finger double tap to start and stop dictation.

when I was on Windows TWBlue still did. Maybe they’ll drop tomorrow, maybe they
won’t. Twiter did let me authorize an account the other day
You might try turning on voice control. Dictation does not happen
automatically, as far as I know. But I think it would be better to turn on
voice control. I think this is done on purpose to keep peoples machines from
turning on dictation by mistake. Or having it start in the background.
Did you read the article?
The difference here is that now it is an *official* part of developer
policy, instead of Twitter leading up to the change.

Sorry, I’m not sure what you are attempting to do. Are you trying to add a
keyboard shortcut for a menu in a specific application?
Or are you trying to get a shortcut in the shortcuts app to have a keyboard
shortcut.

Sorry, I may have created some confusion. I assumed Paul was trying to use
Taptic time when sleep focus was on. That’s the time when I usually use it.
During the day, I just let VO speak the time, unless I’m in a meeting.

Wow, you are lucky. I might have turned off Taptic time, because it always
seemed to go off when I didn’t want it and never when I did. I have an Apple
Watch SE, since did not feel the need for an always on display or a blood
oxygen monitor.

I don’t have premature sleep termination, but I do hopefully have a tip re
haptic time. I have a series 6. On my watch, I can tap the face once, wait
about a half second, then tap twice for haptic time. This works reliably for
me.

My sleep schedule is set to 22:56 until 6:56. Sleep tracking usually produces
plausible sleep durations and usually terminates sleep tracking around 6:56.

entirely too many light switches, and I’m sick of running around the kitchen
getting the lights turned on or
Phillips Hue are the best and I have several of them. Recently, over
Christmas, I switched a lot of my smart lighting to in-wall switches. I went
with the Lutron Diva, which is part of the Caseta line.

If you have a desktop keyboard with numpad you can also control VoiceOver via
the numpad keys.
I tend to do that more and more.
