interesting behavior of MBA waking up with only the enter key

Hi All, I have a password set on my mBA running latest build of Yosemite. If I let the machine fall asleep, with the lid open, and then press the enter key or even command tab to wake the computer up, I am not required to enter my password. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks, Aleeha
