I had this problem as well. For some reason, the update screen for piano pub
seems to be completely inaccessible from within the app. I had to get sighted
assistance to click on the update button and now it works fine again.

When I am editing a slide, after typing one or two lines of text, my mac makes
the noise that it makes when I type onto the next page in Pages. It does this
continuously as long as I type or move around
Unarchiver works well with daisy books too. The built-in archive utility does
not work for bookshare books. Someone else could probably explain why but I
don't know. I just know that the unarchiver works great and is free.

Or after hitting VO+M to get to the menu, hit f for file, e for edit, etc. and
hit down arrow to open the menu. Just start typing the one you want and it
should move you there quickly. Not quite as streamline as alt+f at first, but
