Thanks to “Dave the Computer Guy,” I suspected that Macs do not get viruses but
I appreciate the confirmation.

Macs do NOT get viruses... They occasionally get malware in which you can get
the free Malwarebytes from https://www.malwarebytes.org/ Other than that, you
do NOT need an antivirus, all they do is slow down you Mac. iOS doesn’t need an
antivirus either.
