Really? iTunes should be burning standard redbook CDs. What I have run
into trouble with is some older players not recognizing some kinds of
writable disks. Rewritables in particular but a few write once media
have caused me problems. That said, the last of the CD players that
caused me
oh goodness. like 1995 player. it's really old. but it might also be the disks
i'm using as well.

I've never had a problem playing audio CDs burned from iTunes on home CD
players, DVD players and/or car audio players. As long as I burn to CDR disks,
everything works as it should.
