Yes, this bug is specific to MacOS. The Greek voice and automatic language
switching for Greek iOS works well.

This is particularly relevant to hose of us who speak Greek or use Greek
language to rea with VoiceOver. Sadly, the Greek voice remains to be broken in
Catalina beta although I’ve been reporting this problem since High Sierra when
the Greek voice was broken - it’s now 4 years since.
