Hello, There are several functions that do run regularly to clean up your Mac, but they run as shell scripts, so unless you are fairly familiar with sh scripting they probably won't mean much. Unix has always had these utilities available, and in traditional UNIX systems they would be run via

Hi, The tools that clean up your Mac that are built-in, are not tools that you can configure. These tools run in the background at night, or when you first turn on a laptop after it was a sleep through the night. There is no need to look for these tools as they are just handled by a macOS.
