here the key combination is Alt + Enter. Command + Enter doesn't work for me.
But here I'm working with a german version of iWorks. Maybe there's a
differents. If so, I'm very sorry. But great that it works with CMD + Enter for
you.

oh no! Sorry! :-) Now I know the problem. The key between CTRL and CMD is
called Alt key on german keyboards. But on your US-keyboard it's called Option.
I've forgotten that. So it's my fault. Sorry again.

here's just a little hint how to edit cells in Numbers most efficiently without
routing the mouse to anywhere or so: When you are in a cell you can go in edit
mode just by pressing Alt + Enter. To end this mode press Enter again or just
move with VO + arrow keys.
