Hi Simon,
It is not a carrier issue
That is absolutely highway robbery. In contrast, I pay $50 per month for
unlimited service, unlimited data and my voice translation for voicemail is $3
the visual mail itself is included.
Almost seems worth getting a phone in the states and paying the very small 4G
roaming fee.

Hi Simon,
It is not a carrier issue. It is a change instituted by Apple. I suspect they
received complaints from people because of the automatic connect when the
voicemail button was touched.
Visual voice mail is not available in NZ. I started receiving it when I shifted
to AU. With visual
I cant c how its a carry issue. And what the hell is visual voicemail?

Hi Scott. I just got off the phone with Bell. According to them, they have a
basic visual voicemail plan which costs $5 or one where it translates
voicemails to text which is $13. So either way, with the plan that I have which
is 10 GB of data plus unlimited talk and text province wide, I'd be
Boy, you folks in Canada really get held over a barrel for your services up
there. Seems very expensive. Visual voicemail is a free option here. The
only VM related option I pay for is translation of the VM in to text so I can
read them and not even have to log in to the VM.
Other than that
Hi Scott. As you and David have said, it is a carrier problem. I would like to
add that it doesn't have anything to do with visual voicemail. I don't know
about New Zealand, but here in Canada, visual voicemail doesn't come standard.
At least for Bell and Telus anyway, don't know about Rogers.
That seems to be a carrier problem where you’re not interfacing with the visual
voicemail server. On T-Mobile my voicemail app is working as it always has.

Hi IOS Beta Testers,
Just wondering if anyone else other than myself is finding the new IOS 11 beta
phone voicemail feature a bit of a pain in the butt?
Prior to IOS11 it was a case of click on the voicemail tab in the phone app and
it would automatically connect you to your mobile services
