Hi!
Deppends on how much ram you’ve given the virtual windows machine.
And also how much harddisk space you’ve given.

Hello all,
I've always been disappointed by how choppy and breaky Jaws is when running in
VMWare fusion. I just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows
10 and Jaws is still choppy. I will be reading a line and Jaws will suddenly
stop, sometimes
You can look at the application settings I believe it is which gives you the
option to upgrade the VM. It will tell you whether it’s necessary or not.
Another thing to try is uninstalling vmtools and reinstalling since that’s
where the video intercept and other support takes place.
Honestly

drivers? Might this problem have to do with me having upgraded
How much memory?
This sounds like a good config so far. I asked Eric because usually when I
check these people have 1 core dedicated with 512 megs of memory. Clearly
you’re a more power user than that and have more experience.
SSD is also a good thing to check off that you’ve done. I get 0
I am using an SSD and have eight cores. Four are dedicated to the virtual
machine. Fusion does not recommend I dedicate any more than four cores to
Windows.

Are you using an SSD or rotating disk? Also, how many cores do you have and
how many cores and memory do you have dedicated to the VM? Most people don’t
edit the default settings and they are under powered.

Hi Erric,
I only have this problem when jaws first loads at the login screen in windows
10. I do notes that jaws can be choppy from time to time, but not sure if it
is from vmware or windows itself.
HTH.
