I use RDP remote desktop all the time between work machines and work / home etc. and it's fine, both vista and xp as well as server 2008. it's all pretty easy to work with, and jaws can be both statted and stopped remotely so nothings really a problem. Infact I used rdp to burn a DVD of

No, on the Windows machine that you are Remoting into set up RDP incoming connections. Install the RDP client for the Mac and set it to connect to the Windows machine. You will have to Google for the Mac RDP client. You can here though:
