Not quite sure how all the password certification programs work. My wife recently got an e-mail from Google services with over 50 password that it claimed were compromised. Not terribly surprising except that some of them were accounts that still had the email my wife used before she switched

The reason behind such message is to ask you to change your password. When there is a website with weak security, passwords may leak. If a password has some way to match to any of your passwords, the website will ask you to change it. Your password is mostly secure, but there is no barrier that
