Ray, I think they're always messing with the mobile site. It has gotten so
bad that I use internet Explorer
. Actually, my sighted friends complain
about these constant changes, also.

Ray
On the first night that I encountered the big change with FaceBook I got lucky
and noticed the having trouble go to the nontouch site link. So, it works as
it used to for me.
Someone posted a suggestion for the busy busy busy problem and it has worked
wonderfully for me and in fact I prefer
Thanks, Christina, for this suggestion. Actually, I rather like it. Since the
big change to their page, I still cannot comment or like statuses if nobody
else has, even with going through the context menu to open a new window. There
simply is no link to open, even if I go directly to the
Has anyone tried teh item chooser to see if that non touch option shows up on
there. That really stinks that it was there one day and now it's gone. I just
got lucky and it was right after the see more stories link.

I have definitely tried the item chooser a number of times, and there is no
such link, unfortunately. In fact, there are no other links available after
the last status update and associated options.

Hi there!
I suggested to have a look on the site with your phones!
Someone rightly said it was made for phones!
So could that link show up better on the phone?
I do not have a Iphone and the layout could be different than my nokia!
If you already tried this then I'm stuck!
I'll have to try your
It aint there.

Ray, I think they're always messing with the mobile site. It has gotten so bad
that I use internet Explorer in-windows in my virtual machine for Facebook now.
I hate too, but I got sick of the Safari busy crap all the time. I love my
Mac, but the web browsing gets on my last nerve now and
Hi Ray,
I'm not sure if this was just a fluke or if it will work for anyone else, but
when I noticed this change I went down to the very bottom of the page and there
was a message saying something along the lines of:
Having trouble? Try our non touch site.
There was a link within the
It's definitely not just you. I noticed the change just the other day. It's
despicable, in my opinion. I can get to comments that have already been made
on a given thread, but if there have been no comments made, I can't comment.
I'm not sure if it's related or not, but I have also noticed
When I get the busy messages in Web Kit on m.facebook.com, I hit command-l,
enter. That refreshes the page, and then I can zoom around like I always did.
You can still like or command stuff, but you have to click with the mouse
either by using Voiceover or the physical mouse.
I can understand
I did see that last night, and, tried it; but, I could not do that tonight
because I cannot navigate down to the blasted page to even get the blasted link
to appear!!!

I did eventually reach the bottom, after much time and frustration, but saw no
such link. It's like the page just...ended. No link for settings, profile,
home or anything. Very strange.

well, at least i feel better knowing it wasn't a stupid suggestion.
wish they would just leave the mobile version alone. if the

it on the regular or lite versions. take care, max

What we really need to do is to saturate Facebook with feedback so they'll make
they're regular web site more accessible. If enough of us do it and threaten
to cancel our accounts if they don't, then maybe they'll listen; then again,
maybe not. Look, the fact is that we cannot be ignored
you start the group and i'll like it and post it on my wall and
status. and i know many of my friends would to support me. take care,
Max
