does anyone know how I can write into a PDF? I'd like to create large print
notes around the margins of a PDF. Any ideas would be super appreciated.

I don't know if this will help but Pdf Pen has been talked about on at
least this list. This is a PDF editor I am led to believe which does
more than a reader obviously.

Personally I used Nisus Writer Pro as my default PDF viewer on the Mac.
I have just checked and there is no problem at all with editing a PDF document
like any other document.
You can then go to the file menu and use the save as PDF option to force Nisus
Writer Pro to maintain the document as
PDFPen will allow you to enter text into text boxes, but it wouldn't' really
work to ad notes in the margins, unless a sighted person added text boxes in
the margins for you.

Obtain the original file from which the PDF was generated, add the notes to
it, and create a new PDF.
