Today, it’s the first time for me to send a folder containing some mp3s to my
iPhone via Airdrop from my mac, i sent it, and my iPhone asked me where i need
to open it, i told my iPhone to open the folder with Files pro, but nothing
inside the Files pro at all.

I'm trying to air drop some photos from my phone to my Mac. Airdrop says no
recipients found, but my phone is sitting a foot away from My Mac. Anyone know
how to trouble shoot this? In Finder it looks like I'm set to be discoverable
by everyone.

I’m trying to send a file from my 2012 MBP to my iPhone. Both have the most
recent software updates. They cannot talk to each other via bluetooth though,
or so they say.
Given this fact, and given that the phone is a 5S
there with vo-cmd-f5,
then click (or vo-shift-space).

and both windows are visible on screen.
In my opinion Air Drop should work by using copy and paste on the keyboard.

tried a couple of times tonight and it kept saying failed to drop on
airdrop. Any suggestions? I was using the vo commands to drag my file
selection from my documents and then used command shift r to bring up the
air drop item
So, open two finder windows one with the file and the other
with airdrop and you can make it work.

air drop isn't necessarily needed here. Air drop is an added feature.
a way to go about this from a more straight forward approach is to enable
sharing of your husband's mac and yours on the home network through Sharing
within system preferences. turn on file
to be visible on your screen at the same time
