It's not because of Apple Mail that this happens. For some reason, and in I

the Internet Accounts pane of System Prefs, quit System Prefs to ensure

I use iMap with multiple Google accounts and I'm not seeing this. In the
Accounts pane of Mail Prefs, select your Gmail account, then select the MailBox
Behaviours tab. What is your Trash Mailbox set to and what is your Archive
Mailbox set to?

i've been having a very strange problem with mail on mac for about a week now.
when i open mac mail i tend to get older messages that i removed the last time
back in my inbox.
Either there is something wrong with mail which I'm starting to doubt or there
is a problem with gmail and imap.
