Hi Suzanne, yes, that was the issue. As I told Greg, it is now turned off.
Thanks for responding also.

Hello,
Do you have single key QuickNav on? If so, you will run into problems typing. I
don’t know if this is a bug, or if it is a work in progress, but I keep having
to turn it on and off, depending on what I’m trying to accomplish. Toggle Vo-Q
for Single Key Quicknav on and off.
Good luck.
Joseph,
I’m sorry about cluttering e-mail with a duplicate response which, if I had
read the whole thread, I would have seen it. And now, I’ve cluttered your
e-mail even further.
Have a great week.

Oh, Suzanne, I understand. Sometimes I don't read all of the thread before
responding to some thing either. I just replied to you for reassurance. It is
all good.

Hello,
One more thing and I should be done with tweaking for a while.
When I check the time, I hear, for example, Sun instead of Sunday.
Where might I find the setting to change that? Thanks.

That’s true too. I use Apple Alex. Good point.

It sounds like you’re getting the wooshing sound that you hear when you activate Mission control. Try pressing control up arrow or control down arrow and see if that’s the sound because control up arrow is the default Sonoma keystroke to activate mission control. If you are clicking a mouse and

Mine says, Sunday and not, just sun. Is it digital verses analog display?

Hi,
Maybe it depends on which TTS is in use whether we hear Sun or Sunday.

Hi all,
I just tried to record an audio message and was not successful. I tapped Apps,
then Audio. It started to record, but the only way I could stop the recording
was to swipe around the screen, so I ended up with a bunch of Voiceover garbage

It does appear that this is in fact dependent on the voice as
someone suggested. I use either Alex or Samantha and sad to say,
Samantha is guilty.

Hi guys, so I've had a weird issue with typing in Sonoma that started this
morning. Anytime I want to use my physical keyboard on my computer. Will not
allow me to type. If I hit certain letters, it'll either tell me not found. I
have to interact with the text in order to type. This happened so
Hello,
It sounds like you have turned on single letter quick nav. Try using the
voiceover plus q command to turn it off. This should fix your issue hopefully.

Hi,
this happened to me some week or so ago.
I think you have quick nav turned on. Sorry I can’t remember how I turned it
off. I don’t have time to search how to do this now but if I don’t see an
answer I will try later today.
Max.

Hi Brandon, I've done that. But that does not fix the issue. Quick NAV is off.
Manufac whenever I was in this message and tried to brush a letter, it took me
all the way down to the bottom, where the archive link is.

Hi Max, as I've already stated quit, navigation is already turned off. This
happens regardless, whether a quick navigation is turned on or turned off. I
actually have to turn it on and interact with the text in order to type.
