Hi Kawal,
I use this feature quite a lot as I regularly make calls to landlines and
mobiles in other countries, but the dial pad seems to be inaccessible with the
latest version of Skype for the iPhone. When they first redesigned the
interface a few months ago, the dial pad feature was still
Hi.
I think the accessability broke when Skype got sold to Microsoft as it was fine
when it remained with Google but not sure.
I also thought it was also broken on the Mac but I discovered to my relief that
it was not broken. We need to write to the maker of the Skype App for the I
phone and
I just got this myself. Perfect excuse to go ahead and get off the fence and
get Nisus Writer.

I really don't think the loss of accessibility has anything to do with Skype
being sold to Microsoft.

Ester,
Do you know if Misus is more accessible with VO than pages? I love my mac but
I miss word 2003. maybe it is because I had to work with it so much and I just
got used to it. Anyway, I haven't gotten used to pages. I think it is not as
accessible as word with a pc.
thanks for any
Hi,
Perhaps you've found something that I haven't, but it looks like MacScan is
completely and totally inaccessible. Opening it on my system gives absolutely
no controls. No menu bars, no windows, no buttons, no just nothing.

How does Nisus handle tables with VO? That would be a huge selling point for
me. I may look at the demo, but thought I would ask too.

Hi all,
I got my MacBook Air in October, and am still learning quite a bit, both
about Lion and about using Windows in VMWare Fusion. Lately, when I start
Fusion, I can only seem to access a toolbar with suspend, devices, unity,
and snapshots. I've been able to get out of this and get Windows to
I got this as well. It will be interesting to see what is acceptable.
Thanks, all for the info and heads-up on this.

Hi Buddy and Others,
When you run MacScan and VO says there are no windows, just press Enter. It's
an authentication window that VoiceOver doesn't see. You should be good to go,
and everything past there should be accessible. I got this tip from Gordon and
Lynne on the Mac-Access list.
