Try changing your terminal type to vt100. The setting is under

allow third party browsers to use their own engine. For example, Chrome uses

Quite a while back, I had this problem. I removed all VO prefs and rebooted the
machine. Then I reset my VO settings back to what I wanted. That, for me,
corrected the problem.
Please be careful if you decide to do this and make sure you are certain about
what prefs you are removing.
I am still wondering if there is another iOS browser that I can use other than
Safari. Are there really no alternatives to Safari on iOS?
