Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how to edit audio in Audacity. I found a tutorial
online for how to work with Audacity using the keyboard, but it's not working
for me. I'm not able to use the arrow keys to navigate through the audio.
Has anyone else used Audacity to edit audio? Or, what other
Hi!
I have turned trackpad commander off so i guess i can do that gesture.

Thanks.

Simon,
You should be good to go then. Whatever's in iTunes will play on the Apple TV.
Go under Computers, to your computer, and AudioBooks should be in there. If
the stars are aligned properly, and if you have your finger up your left
nostril, then it should remember where you were between

So far I’ve just used my iBooks app on devices to read my books,
I would however like to be able to stream them through my stereo or apple tv

But that is a work in progress.
Use a service like icloud or drop box.

Hi Gabe,
It’s in the public beta, beta 4 release I believe. Not sure when the next
Apple official update will be but probably not long since these are just
maintenance releases.

Hello Scott,
Is that something that is still in beta or has it been released and an update
yet? If it is still in beta is there any idea when it might be released to the
public?
That is very exciting news to hear that we will be getting the percentage
notification back.

The other thing I do is to enable the trackpad gesture to switch between full
screen applications. Personally I use the track pad three finger swipe, but I
expect that is actually overriding a VoiceOver gesture.
Best wishes,

You now get both percentage, time to go and the actual power status whether
it’s charging, on power but charged, battery etc.

Try moving the cursor away from the setting and back to make sure the right
item was selected.

What you want to do is go to fusion, select the unity button altheway on the
right and then press your tab key and shift tab. This puts you in side the vm
and VO will stop talking as much, you might also wish to turn it off at this
stage with a command F5.

Hi!
Ok, so how do i go about entering windows environment then?
I just want to make at least narrator start but it seems that i can not enter
into the windows environment.
Voiceover is still navigating around.
Do i have to turn off Vo to make things work smoother?

I’m looking for any suggestions to resolve an unusual problem in setting the
“Spell-Check” property in Mail Preferences.
A friend had the property set to “As You Type” and wanted to change it to
“Never.” I walked her through the “Mail Preferences” sheet; having her select

Hi!
Hmm, strange.
Well i guess i have to check how much memory i have on the machine first as it
didn’t ask about that.
Thanks.

Hi:
I switched to Tom b/c Alex was crashing and I was tired of restarting VO. Tom
is actually pretty snappy.

Likewise. I always use full screen. But if I am careless with
keystrokes, I run into trouble.

I have seen the truth and it makes no sense.

And for that matter, Unity does not make much sense to use until there are at
least one open non-desktop window in your Windows Environment. I also find for
the work I do most, where I need access to a slew of JAWS shortcuts that Unity
is not convenient.
Best wishes,

Hi Simon,
In order for the Audiobook library to be visible to your Apple TV through Home
Sharing, your AudioBook Library must be within iTunes itself. The Home Sharing
protocol is meant to share iTunes libraries, not simply a sharing protocol.
So, if your iTunes library points to those
I would wager a big part of your slowness problem is you’re still using
rotating disks. These are 80 times slower than the latest SSD disks and will
exhibit this kind of behavior.
Just a guess but that’s what this problem feels like.

Hi Anders, unity doesn’t become available until after windows boots. Boot
windows first and then the button will become usable.
Thanks

Hi,
Check in your iCloud Preferences to ensure that iCloud Drive is enabled.
There's also an Options button beside the iCloud Drive item which allows you to
go more granular and turn on or off specific apps within iCloud Drive. Make
sure that the apps like Pages are checked.
Later...
