Question. Did you try tabbing to the button and just pressing the space bar on
it? Sometimes, I get wierd behavior like that where the return key will
sometimes work where other methods of pressing won’t.

Paypal buttons not working in Safari.

2017-01-27 Thread Anders Holmberg
Hi!
I have got a big problem.
I am trying to update an expired card on paypal with no luck.
I can click the eddit button but when it comes to the save button i am not sure
of if it takes any effect as it doesn’t say anything.
But it seems as i click the save button on paypal but when i check the card
still is expired and not updated.
Very frustrating.

Assembling .m4a files into an audio book?

2017-01-27 Thread CHUCK REICHEL
Hi List,
I have several .m4a files that I excerpted from this audio plugin manual that I
am studying.
I converted each text chapter to audio using "Add to iTunes as a Spoken
Track" I would like to assemble an "audio book" & be able to drop in book marks
and such.
I've heard of audio book builder any body have some direction for assembling
all these audio chapters in to my own custom audio book for studying?
I know I could drop it in to Pro Tools and add markers but would like an audio
book solution.
Just for experimentation in itunes I pulled up the info for 1 of these .m4a
files and changed the type from music to "audio Book" format which then makes
it show up in itunes as an audio book but I didn't see any way to manipulate it
further IE "insert book marks"?
Thanks
For some direction in achieving this.

RE: earpods

2017-01-27 Thread Simon Fogarty
Yeah can understand but according to apple they admit there is an issue
So will wait and see,
I know with my Plantronics devices I can have multiple devices connected at one
time and the one I’m active with is the one that is working through the bt
headset,
I always have a delay when changing devices obviously a delay to figure out
which device should be primary at that point in time.

After being frustrated about the same thing, I realised that, when I have
multiple devices active at the same time, there is probably no way that the
AirPods can know automatically which device I want them to connect to at any
given time. For example, I currently have one iPhone on speakerphone with my
partner, whilst my other iPhone is connected to my AirPods and reading my
email. If the AirPod was doing it automatically, it should be connecting to my
phone call as that is the priority connection.

HI David,

Thanks for this I just gave it a try and yes the pods connect to my watch if
the phone is out of reach or as I tried turned off.

Only problem with that really is that if I get a phone call and wish to answer
it through my watch then the pods don’t get the audio as the phone is on.

As for connecting the earpods manually through Bluetooth on a secondary device
such as the watch or an iPad,

That’s not the way apple have said they should be working,
The pods should be connected to all devices signed in with the same iCloud
account details.
Ok so the pods are seen by each device but they aren’t actually connected until
  they are manually connected

As for removing and resetting up the pods yeah tried it and got the same
situation,

Can’t say I’m overly impressed thus far.

The charge case and the sound quality are great, the size I definitely like
but the device syncing is a bit of a failure so far.

First, the Airpods connect with the Apple Watch, but they do not actually
receive sound from it unless the iPhone is out of range.

Second, once the AirPods are paired with the Apple Device, they are
automatically paired to all devices on the account. However, it is necessary to
open the device, open bluetooth, and connect to the AirPods to have the AirPods
work with that particular device at that time. If only one device, the AirPods
are always active with said device save when disconnected.

The AirPods must be in the ear in order to be active. I find that this is
sometimes a little tricky, especially on the right ear. Occasionally, I put in
the left ear, followed by the right ear, and then wait for the right pod to
realise it is in the ear and connect. Some people are reporting similar
difficulties. The fix is to factory reset the AirPods and start over. As this
does not happen to me too often, I have not performed the factory reset yet.

Apparently, the base is the primary Bluetooth controller. It creates the
initial pairing. Then, each AirPod has the ability to be primary. The first
AirPod to be placed in an ear becomes primary and handles the audio signal. If
that AirPod is removed, control is passed to the other Pod.

Hi Daniel,

Interesting your saying that.

According to apple accessibility when I spoke to them today,

The pods should be active always once connected to the primary device in my
case my iPhone 7+

The earpods have been found to not be working with the apple watch as they
should so apple requested that submitted as a feedback issue via the beta
feedback tool

So they have noted a problem but it’s still to be worked on.

According to the apple data on line you shouldn’t have to tell the pods that
you want the audio to play through them it should just happen straight away.
