The other day I had occasion to connect my braille display to the iPad but could not because my Mac was running. It was not enough to disconnect the braille display from the Mac, I had to turn Bluetooth off. Is this typical behavior for Bluetooth and if so, is there an easier method

It’s just a different thing. Instead of going through a phone company to get to your house like the local bell for DSL or cable they use a wireless system. There’s a central tower with sector panels on top and then they point these small panel looking antennas towards the tower for service.

Oh you definitely don’t want charter. I had them before FIOS. The signal constantly dropped out, internet was about half as fast as advertised, very hard to cancel, hold times over an hour when you needed anything. If you’re hesitant about the smaller guys just wait until you get hooked up

Windstream is a smaller company, out of Rhode Island oddly enough I think. Cox is a pretty major cable provider. So you’ll probably get fewer services but more personal attention at wind stream and the big company blues but lots more options with Cox. I would put a Cox cable in the category
