There should have been a Notification banner in the upper right corner of the Mac’s screen. You can access these Notification banners using VO + N, then using the up/down arrow keys, then pressing Enter to select and place focus on the Notification. You will then need to open the Actions

Hi. My Mac kept saying bluetooth keyboard disconnected. It had been doing this a lot when I put my Surface Tablet pro on. So today I restarted the Mac and it stopped it. There were no dialogue boxes showing. It would do this intermittently. After restarting it, it didn’t do this at all.

Tim, Yes, just confirmed your point. The laptop keyboard lost those keys for normal typing. Drat. Interestingly is that with my external USB-connected keyboard, those keys do not get mapped and they continue to work as expected, even with mouse keys enabled. But of course that’s not the point,

Hi, While this will turn off the trackpad, it also may have some unforeseen consequences for you. When Mouse Keys is enabled, you have now made the 7, 8, 9, u, I, o, j, k, l and a few more keys have different functions. When Mouse Keys is enabled, these keys work as mouse directional keys,

Hi, As John aptly said, it is a System dialog alert that is trying to tell you to pay attention to it. It will continue to do this until you attend to it. Use VO-f1-f1, the Application Chooser, to find this alert. The Window Chooser, V(-f2-f2, does not usually reveal System alerts. Later…
