Hi,

When in Photos, you use the Export Photo to export to jpg, not Save. Using
Preview, also works great. Open the image in Preview by using VO-shift-m to
bring up the contextual menu for the photo, then Open With, and choose Preview.
Once open in Preview, you can export to jpg, pdf etc.

Later…

Check the settings in Safari Preferences -> General, and make sure it's

Opening in a new window is the default.

Import/Export of Safari Passwords

2022-04-17 Thread Dave Carlson
I’m using Monterey now more than my old Mojave OS. However I find that Safari
on Monterey does not know most of my stored passwords, and it does not seem to
ask if I want to store or update them when I type on a web page.

On my Mojave Safari I was prompted whenever it was a new page or if I changed
the username or password.

Since Safari on the Monterey OS does not do this, I wanted to import my Safari
passwords from Mojave into Monterey’s Safari.

On the Monterey Safari there is an ability to export/imnport the stored
passwords via a CSV file, in System Preferences. I can’t find the equivalent in
the Mojave System Preferences. Does anyone know how I can export my Mojave
Safari stored passwords so that I can import them into Monterey Safari?

them in either preview or in the Photos app and then just save them in the JPG

Re: Bookmarks not syncing yet again

2022-04-17 Thread Brad Snyder
Safari bookmarks sync via iCloud. I don't think it matters what Wi-Fi network
you are connected to.
You might try going into your iCloud settings on each of your devices, and turn
off bookmark syncing. Then turn it back on and see what happens on each of your
max.

HTH.

The files in /etc are configuration files which are supposed to be
subject to modification by the system administrator. It's possible, of
course, that Apple no longer respects this convention.

Hi!
Could dd work for the specific folder?
So that you make a script with dd that copy it back and forth.
