I would suggest using the W3C’s HTML validator. It should be available in an extension for your preferred editor. It’s also available in HomeBrew via the vnu package. You can then run it from a MacOS terminal. From: mr.robertcole via MacVisionaries Date: Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 15:27 To:

Two suggestions: 1. Lodge a support case with Apple. 2. Try installing the latest MacOS public beta, and if you can reproduce the problems, report them there. Realistically, that’s all you can do. The software is not open-source. Only Apple’s engineers can change it. From:

I’m still in the process of learning HTML, which I’ve been attempting through W3Schools, and have a document started that I’m slowly trying to build out in text edit. I’ve tested what I’ve attempted to write in VS code, which continuously says “no problems,” and Codepen.io

Are you only having problems with editing or is it actual focus? I am finding the changes to auto-correction to be very difficult to work with, even though it is much more accurate than it was before. But this is both in iOS and Mac OS. I don’t want to turn it off, of course, but sometimes I

Did you check to see if cursor tracking was inadvertently disabled? If this setting has not been turned off and you are continuing to experience issues with cursor focus, I’d recommend backing up and resetting your VoiceOver preferences to defaults to see if that resolves the problem. Hai >

Do all of the settings under VoiceOver -> Navigation seem correct? I’m not having any focus issues, so, without a clue as to what it might be, I can’t help any further. You may need to reset everything to defaults and reinstall applications. I would suggest taking this up with Apple support
