How did I do that, you ask? Let me say it was an I/O error, as in idiot
operator! ;)
Yes, I was deleting apps on my third home screen and deleted one too
many without thinking very hard about it.
Factory reset makes me shudder. Not that I couldn't do it. But I've put
a lot of work into
how did you manage to succeed in that endeavor?
would it not be easier, to take the iPhone, and reset it to factory default

Yeah, it's working now. It wasn't a few years ago when I installed on my
2013 era Macbook Air.

Argh. The cure may be worse than the disease in this instance!
Think I'll stumble along with Siri for now!

Hi,
To get arch working just do the following at bootup. When the boot menu pops
up, down arrow once and press enter. When arch starts speaking, just type
archinstall and follow the prompts and you should be good. HTH.

4. Press Enter (center of nav wheel).
5. Program starts.

Hi ET,
What happens when you try to play something? I’ve used the Up Next Feature for
years, and find it very handy. All I do is click on the show I want to watch
and it starts.

Donna

Mark,
Apple needs to bring back the TV Shows and the Movies apps. While I
can manage the Up Next thing, I have at least twice been unable to start
playing an episode even though it is in the string of episodes for
various shows. The other night I could not get an episode to play no
matter
Mark,
You are a fine example of a humble being. That goes a long ways in
being able to cope on days when it seems impossible. You know how to
start the new year tooon the right foot. Cheers.
