Mars edit makes it possible to avoid using blocks. You can just type as if you were editing a word document and then publish right to your blog. I have not tried pcreating or publishing pages yet but for blogs it is great. I understand that it also will work with Mastodon now. But I have not

Hi Merv, Can you say more? What specifically do you love? Also, how do you work with the block design in WordPress? It seems like it would be very intuitive if you can see and figure out how to arrange the blocks, but I’m not sure how to work with that if you can’t visually arrange them.

Hi Jurgen, Can you say more about Mars? I thought about using something like What’s App or even Facebook, but I like the vlog idea better. First, everything can just be housed there. That will be convenient for anyone who wants to look at it, but not necessarily receive alerts all the time.

Hi Donna, Word Press is pretty accessible in my opinion. I use Mars as an app solution on the Mac to upload content. So it's not necessary to work online. But wouldn't it be easier in your case to use a messenger like Whats App and create a family group? Just as an idea. all the best
