Hi,
To get rid of a Dock item, navigate to it, press VO-shift-m to bring up the
Contextual menu, navigate down to Options, and right to open the sub-menu and
choose Remove, then press return.

I ashed if you have Clean My Mac. This would uninstall an app and
all of its 'hidden' elements.

Okay, I’m glad to hear that. Still, I want to get rid of all those references
like icons. Like right now, I see three labels on the dock. Sure, I could
live with it, but it’s annoying.

app, and it's in the trash folder, go to the trash folder, and empty the trash.
Then went to empty the trash, then you can read install it and download it
fresh. And you're not stupid. Trust me.

Oops, I forgot to mention my mac info. I put it in the subject line, and here

I downloaded an app, a download manager, to be specific. For some reason I
decided to trash it. Then download it again as a fresh start, but I still
found traces from the first
