Airdrop does not work on machines older than 2012 i think.
I have a mac mini mid 2011 and it does not work there unless i install the
continuity activation tool.
But on my new Macbook Air it works just fine.

supported with 2012 Max or later. Maybe even 2011.

sees my iPhone 6, even sometimes gives a five-number pairing sequence, but
there is no way to enter that pairing sequence on

I didn't see any text in your last message. How old is your Mac? Maxson are
over in three years have some issues with some of the conductivity between Mac
and iPhone, because they don't have Bluetooth 4.2. I am not sure if that's
getting in your way.

The subject line pretty much says it all. I would like to enable AirDrop on my
