It actually updated sometime after we got it connected. That may also have been what caused the Siri voices to appear.Cheers,DonnaSent from my iPhoneOn Feb 28, 2023, at 5:05 PM, Raymond Foret Jr wrote:Do you have the latest version of the software, if so, you just need to look down far enough
Do you have the latest version of the software, if so, you just need to look
down far enough but they are there all under "Siri".

Hi everyone,
Not sure why, but it worked this morning. After seeing Ray’s message, I
decided to give it another try, and this time the Siri voices were there. We
had just hooked it up when I tried on Saturday, so maybe that had something to
do with it.
Cheers,

How do you get those voices? The Siri voices do not show up in my list of options in accessibility, voiceover. As for the issue with Amazon prime, I saw that behavior on my older Apple TV, so I was expecting it. Thanks, though.Cheers,DonnaSent from my iPhoneOn Feb 28, 2023, at 8:09 AM, Raymond
Yes it is. Be aware, however, that if you switch to the US Siri voices, and
you try to click on Amazon prime video, it will switch back to the Samantha
voice for the duration you're using prime video. When you switch back to
anything else, you will be back to the US Siri voice you chose.
Hi all,
I just upgraded to the latest gen 4k Apple TV. On our older Apple TV, I was
able to use the American Siri voice for VoiceOver output. Is there a way to do
this on the newer Apple TV? If yes, how?
TIA,
Donna
