A few notes on Microsoft Word
I use Word, Excel, and OneDrive on the MacBook Pro M1. I have not had any
issues with accessibility. I have Office 365 but have not played with the other
Office Apps even though they are on my Mac. I did put both word and Excel on my
Dock for faster access. And removed Pages, and Numbers since

In Windows 10, Win + B, puts Windows keyboard focus on the System
Tray/Notification area.
It does the same in Windows 11.

I’m going back to school and they apparently provide Microsoft Office apps for

I thought maybe I should try to use them so that there aren’t any issues
converting from Pages to Word and so on.
What is the accessibility like in the Office apps for Mac though? I downloaded
them and so far
Yes they really drive me round the twist sometimes - as from my experience so
many screen readers seem simply to jump over them and pretend they are not
there!

I would be interested as well. Thank you so much to anyone who can figure this
out. Text boxes are the bane of my existence! I need to read so many documents
that include them. Have a great day, Suzanne.

Hi,
Is it possible to work successfully with textboxes in Ms Word on the mac? I
mean move from one box to another, read its content and / or write in them? I
have to fill in a questionnaire which is full of textboxes and I have no idea
how to complete the task.
Many thanks for any tips.

MS Word is used with Duxbury, but I am going to try using plain text
to import into DBT. My Office 365 subscription is up in 3 months so have
time. I just don't need anything but Word so will see how TezEdit does.

Somehow, I lost the start of this discussion. My general advice regarding
Microsoft Word for Mac would be to make sure you’re using the latest version
(e.g., Monthly Channel) from Office 365, with an up to date Mac OS/VoiceOver.
There is no doubt that Microsoft Office for Mac has been

$99.99 per year is for up to 5 computers, either Mac or Windows.
Another option is $69.99 per year for a single computer.
It is up to you to decide which option works best for your needs.

Currently I have the Office 355 subscription. I really only use Word
and would be fine with just the Mac version. But apparently one still
needs an Office 355 subscription. Are there other options? $99 every
year is too much.

Hi.
Is there any improvements in microsoft word for mac? I have to use it, if it is
still not accessible I will have to work in windows, but that is not working so
well with braille especially not in danish, so therefore if there are any

Being that Microsoft has not released a new version since 2010 I suspect
VO support has not since been added.
