Thanks to Jonathan and Grant for very helpful posts. Fortunately, I have
not changed the path of my iTunes library on my PC, so it's pretty likely
the copying will go smoothly.

c:\users\username\music\iTunes. You can force your library folder to be
somewhere else if you want, but that’s where it typically is. Inside that
folder, there’s a sub-folder called iTunes Media, which has subfolders

Presently,my iTunes library lives on my iPhone 5 and my Windows 7 PC. I would
like to put the library on my new MacBook Air. I’m under the impression that
the Windows Migration Assistant is the best way to transfer the library. If I
use this approach, is the software
