Hi Scott,
My wireless network hasn't dropped since I installed 10.6.5.
As you probably discovered from ascertaining the ip address, under system
prefferences - network, there's a box labeled Show AirPort status in menu
bar. When checked, you can see information by either via trackpad

Well, using ATT U-Verse over here, the download took maybe about 10 minutes
for me.
Not bad for what's supposed to be a 24MB max downstream speed huh?

Hi Scott:
The data detector responds to info in an email that it thinks you ay want to do
something with, such as a link, an address, a phone number and maybe even a
date. When that notification happns, it means there's something you can click
vo-shift-m on and get a context menu.

yes. It seems to be happening only in Safari. The workaround for now is to
disable airport and reenable it. Hope they will fix that bug soon.

I'm glad I'm on a very fast network with gobs of upstream pipe. Took me less

Yes, looks like bluetooth braille displays are more reliable, ad they mention
fixing an issue with safari, probably the crash that continuously was happening

attention all users of older model core 2 duo equipment, 10.6.5 may (not for
certain in all cases) cause your usb keyboard/mouse not to load, thus leaving
you with no way to access your system. I highly recommend a time machine backup
BEFORE you even attempt to download and install this update.
I'm curious how fast it would have gone for me at home. I think I sustained
about 100 megabits so it was probably only slightly slower. If I tuned the TCP

grabbed it in less than 30 seconds if they don't have rate
