Re: Quick Moderator note -was- Re: Requesting a Little Support via Twitter

2017-02-22 Thread Cara Quinn
Scott,

Of course, and that is exactly why I wrote ‘this goes for all of us’ in my note.

I actually appreciate a good venting of the spleen so to speak but this just is
not the place for this.

All I am saying is that if you or anyone else wants to vent about a thread or
person etc, either write me or Mark, or just go ahead and have at it off the
list.

That cannot possibly be too much to ask, can it? :)

And Scott, in case you are wondering why I am sending this response on the
list, I did try writing you a while back off the list but got no response. So
apparently we must continue this dance in public. lol!

Ya know, in all seriousness I’ve actually thought of starting a list just for
unbridled conversation and flaming etc but it would probably turn out to be the
most boring list ever! lol! If offered the opportunity to express one’s self
with absolutely no restrictions, people probably just would not want to take
part in it. -Either that or it would just degenerate into pure and utter
stupidity. :)

So in regard to this list, can we please please please just keep this to a dull
roar?

And yes, this goes for all of us. -And yes, I even include myself in this. I
have been snarky from time to time myself so I do understand that none of us is
immune. :)

Thanks and have an awesome evening!

Cheers!

It wasn’t like it was a constructive criticism or a reasoned response I’d have
welcomed that it was just whining to have one’s self heard. Come on Cara, you
know the difference.;)). Of course what you and Mark says goes, it’s your list
no argument from me what so ever I’m just saying the crap storm from the

Re: Quick Moderator note -was- Re: Requesting a Little Support via Twitter

2017-02-22 Thread Scott Granados
Nobody gave you any racist political crap, not here. Although I can tell by
your attitude you bring it on your self living with this victim mentality.

I most certainly made no racist statements nor would I. I made several
statements based on Department of Justice published crime statistics reports
but we won’t bother letting facts get in the way. Also some statements based
on historical facts.
Simon was asking a legitimate question, all be it possibly on the wrong
list:) about the structure of our phone carriers and how our states work. Just
like I do not know the finer points of New Zealand governmental and provincial
structure I’m quite sure he’s probably equally unfamiliar with ours. Being
your so defensive and worrying about people victimizing you so much you might
not know but New Zealand is on the other side of the globe from the United
States. It makes sense we don’t know about each other’s way of doing things.
Your the one showing inflexibility, rigidity and prejudice by not allowing us
to discuss something with out attack so we both learn more about each other.
Nobody had any racial intent what so ever yet the victim class is trained to
play that card along with the poor blind card, the women card, the gay card,
liberal card, republican card, single and married card and on and on and on.
You in the victim class need to learn that these are the ways we’re divided,
these labels must be discussed so they can be eventually dealt with and no
longer exist. Granted probably not on a Mac list, Mark’s points are good ones
and it’s his list so this is the last I will comment on this subject. I hate
that we’ve become a gutless politically correct thoughtless mass who hides
behind our differences and cries wolf instead of engages.
