Andrew and all:

Thanks finally I did it, the only issue that you didn't mention and
makes me confused, is that I must checked the short cut 1st before
making this, but anyway, it's working\

Regarding Siri activation shortcut keys, I changed it in system preference /
siri to fn+spacebar as it clashes with command+spacebar as I use it for input
change.

Re: Saving a document under many folders, and input short cut

2016-10-25 Thread Jonathan Cohn
First can be one with sidebar. In the finder drag The folder of interest to
the sidebar, there is a keyboard shortcut for this but I don't remember it.
Then, when saving documents you should be able to expand out a mini find
your view to select things including the items on the sidebar.

We are second issue, you need to go into system settings keyboard shortcuts
and change the keyboard shortcut for spotlight to something else, then
command space should toggle between keyboard input modes. This might A bit
different in Sierra, since command space hell down on some cases bring up
Siri, with the above worked up to El Capitan.

Re: Saving a document under many folders, and input short cut

2016-10-25 Thread Andrew Lamanche
I had some difficulty with it too initially.

Make sure you interact with the second column in the second table. The first
column just tells you whether the checkbox is checked or not. The second
column tells you what the shortcut currently is. You need to interact with the
cell first and move once to the right to land on the textedit field with the
shortcut currently in place. Voiceover should say "selected" and then you
press the new shortcut key combination. Move away and back to the same field
to confirm the new shortcut.

Let me know if you succeed.

Re: Saving a document under many folders, and input short cut

2016-10-24 Thread Anne Robertson
Hello,

The command to change your input source can be changed in System Preferences,
Keyboard, Shortcuts. Select Input Sources in the first table, then go to the
next table and change the shortcuts.

Cheers,

Anne

Re: Saving a document under many folders, and input short cut

2016-10-24 Thread Brandt Steenkamp
Hi there,

What I usually do, check the disclosure checkbox, Then make sure you are in
column view, you will then be able to browns to the folder where you want to
save your document.

Saving a document under many folders, and input short cut

2016-10-24 Thread Ramy Moustafa
Hello all:
I have 2 questions:
1- if i need to save a document from pages or text edit, on my downloads but
not on the root of my downloads, let’s say that i created a folder inside
downloads called docs, and i need to save y document inside it, There is no way
to do this from pages or text edit, i have only to choose the root place, like
downloads, iCloud etc, do you have a solution?
2- i need to find a short cut to make me switch between 2 input sources on
keyboard, i’m now using the input menu, can i find something easier?
Thanks
