Yes I have. I sent them a screen video. Of course I received the typical
answer. But at least I received one and I hope they’ll fix it.

I hope you’ve reported the voice problems on Big Sur. This side of
accessibility has been troubled since Sierra for those of us who use
multilingual support.

Hi Paul,
in my experience on a german MacBook Air with an M1 chip,
voices section in VoiceOver became pretty buggy. I experienced switching voices
in the beginning and I still experience 2 issues:
1. Control doesn’t really stops the voice from speaking. It just stops one
block of text but
The issue might be with the Ivox voice as I understand they are no longer going
to be supported for Big Sur.

Hello,
I am running Bigsur on my iMac. For reasons I do not understand VoiceOver
keeps switching voices between my preferred voice (InfoVox iVox Racheal) and
Daniel. There seems to be the concept of “default system voice” which seems to
be Daniel and my chosen voice Racheal. How can I use
All it said in the press release was that they were focussing on argumentative

Really? Wonder what their explanation is for discontinuing them for silicon
Macs. Good thing I'm not due for a new computer for a long time.

Hello,
I am advised by Assistive Ware that support for their Voices will be
discontinued on Mac/OS from 31 August 2021 which is a pity as for me they are
better than any Apple voice! After installing InfoVox iVox Voice Manager 4.6
from the Assistive Ware web site these Voices now work fine on
Well that's a relief. It'll be nice to use them if my Siri voice craps out
again which I hope they don't. *Knocks on wood.

Hello,
FYI the infoVox iVox voices currently do not work on Mac/Os Bigsur. I have
contacted their support team and have been advised that this is a known issue
which will be fixed by an update to their App next week.
Thesed are my favorite voices so that is goodnews.
