Same here. Difficulties to log in after backup after starting the encryption
process. Do one restart of the mac first after install or later backups.
Sometimes the filevault freeze and you have to back up again. So, do first a
backup of the clean install. Then you have less trouble if filevault

Encryption its a good thing and it works fantastically under voice over.

File Vault can be tempermental sometimes for a screen reader user. I quit
using it due to this reason. I wanted my hard drive to be encrypted with File
Vault. The problem really came when I rebooted and logged in. Sometimes it
logs in okay and other times not. I never say don’t
I’m fixing to do a clean install of Sierra on my Mac, and I was wondering
should I erase the disk using MacOS extended with encryption, or should I use
file volt after the MacOS is installed? Also, are there any issues, or
