I could not get negative numbers to not speak the negative value either. So 1. Either something in a specific type of sheet formatting. 2. Different versions of numbers. or 3. AN obscure setting in VoiceOVer that some of us are not finding. I think the easiest thing to do is verify your numbers

I’ve used the “all” settings for punctuations, and the parentheses are read only with voices other than Alex or Fred. But my preference is having the minus sign precede the $ sigh, so I don’t need to have all punctuation. Having all punctuation in other apps drives me insane. I’ll see if
