Hi!
What you mean is something that for example connects to the Iphone or
disconnects from it while reaching a specific range.
What would your usage be for such a device?

No nothing like that but I realized after I posted this that it is
not practical.

Is there such a device as this? Something that can be attached to an
item and set a range in the iPhone to trigger when the item in question
is more than say 20 feet away? Ever go someplace and leave something
behind? Intriguing, yes?

Disconnecting from the Mac did not work, I ended up removing the
display from the Mac and will use USB. Not as convenient but it will
have to do I reckon.

It’s typical if multipoint isn’t supported in other words if you can only pair

The other day I had occasion to connect my braille display to the
iPad but could not because my Mac was running. It was not enough to
disconnect the braille display from the Mac, I had to turn Bluetooth off.
Is this typical behavior for Bluetooth and if so, is there an easier

Thanks. I will now remember to turn my Bluetooth speaker on before booting up
the Mac. The other thing is that I forgot to confirm the selection in sound
settings so it must have been reverting back to the default setting.

Hi There, so basically what happens is when you restart your mini or after it
goes to sleep the sound reroutes to the primary source. The pairing
reestablishes but the actually connection to A2DP does not. You need to select
the audio channel you want to use. E.T’s suggestion of using the

First if you have not done so, go into Bluetooth preferences and

Hi. I keep on having to go in to my settings to pair my Bluetooth speaker with
my Mac Mini and I thought it was suppose to pair automatically when both
devices are turned on? I keep on having to manually select the speaker in sound
settings for output devices. I’ve gone back to using my 3.m
Hi Noel,
Go to bluetooth preferences under system preferences. Provided your speaker is
on and tyring trying to pair, you should see a table of devices already paired
with your mac. There may be a new device in the table, notably your new
speaker and its status, probably not paired. See
Hi guys,
I got a new bluetooth speaker I wanted to pair with my Mac. I've

Hello list:
I can't seem to remove a bluetooth device. The process sounds simple enough.

device table, navigate to the remove device button and press it. My problem is

Reboot the device and try again.
