file on the memory card, which I've transferred via USB, but it tells
me the packages
all appointments from my Palm. Biggest
shortcoming: can't sync with desktop (at least nobody managed that so far).
Thanks,
Rainer

with it.
Would performance improve, if I reduce the number of shapes per character?
I.e. doing a kind of very unique symbol per character, like (at least the
early) Palms did?
Many thanks,
Rainer

Does it reboot if you hold the power-button down for a while?
Pull battery?
Can it take a reflash?
(sorry if these are of no help...)

should be locked then.
I don't have my 770 around here at work, so I can't confirm that this
works even if the device is off...
That's what I do. I haven't had any problems with it. I have it with
me most of the time.

I assume, I can't disable the rd mode without flashing because it is a
kernel feature (I don't have an USB cable right now, but I have

It is not related to [linux] kernel
calendar, I maintain contacts, notes,... in a plain
text files with cvs syncronisation.
Just curios, what I should start to look at when the new Nokia 770 arrives
hopefully next week.
Thanks,

, it seems that I need
a MS Windows systems, at least the German Nokia website tells this.
Can the Nokia 770 boot (and maybe install) from an USB stick?
Thanks,
Rainer
PS: Does anybody know, if the Zaurus may be upgraded without a Windows
systemI have none.
