A few minutes later I discovered that a process called maemo-xinput-sounds was consuming 100% of CPU. I gave it five minutes, then killed it manually. Coincidence? Hi Qole, It depends on the changes you make. If you create a new keyboard, then you should set it by running: # setxkbmap KB_NAME Could you tell me an example of the changes you're trying to make? Sorry, I was unclear about the place to post this.
