Hi all
I've been a long time Mandriva advocate. I'm glad to see this move to
create a more stable future and hopefully provide a stronger vision
and direction.
I wish to offer my skills and time towards this project, however I'm a
newbie when it comes to packaging.
My skills mainly focus around

Could we all agree that Anne Nicola be the official spokesperson for the
Mageia project? If so, Anne could then add to her signature an
appropriate title to reflect this.

it is my understanding that currently perl-GTK is being used for all
drakxtools. if a suitable perl-QT exists and possibly a compatibility layer in
between (which could work with both), then i see no issue about this.
reading Mandriva's latest statement, they seem to want better KDE integration,

with Perl and Python. I have been thinking of porting Mandriva
control center backend to Python and make it modular such that it uses
pyGTK or pyKDE for UI
