I suggest you have a look at the group_delete() method to initially
delete the groupfiles and at this point log the files which are still in
use and also log the views where they are in use.
This lookuptable could then be used in a second step to implement a
method for the cron, thus
The fix released is only for the scaped br issue. The process still
doesn'a ignore existing users.

There is an easier way and we use it on the Allowed iframe page: If the
favicon cannot be fetched by the URL that you are using as embed code,
you can add a URL manually (when you edit the iframe settings). See the

Attaching an improved version of the timezone troubleshooting patch.

Ah, I see it now. The icon host field. It's not visible when you're
creating a new iframe source. You have to create the source, then click
the edit button for it to show up.
I believe a field like this would be too confusing to expose to end
users, but we could certainly add something like that
