Hello
I was testing in preparation for an upgrade from v 17.04 to 18.04 and
found that I couldn't upload a new image as a background to a skin.
I've tried on demo.mahara.org and this is what I've found:
I created a new skin. Went into the Background tab and clicked on Add
Brilliant, thank you! I think that's going to be really useful.

It would be really nice if it were possible for admins and ordinary
members to have different page editing rights within a group. What I
have in mind is that students could collaborate on some pages but not be

Are the tabs gone for good? I quite liked them as you could clearly see
what was in the collection, eg Education, Work Experience etc etc for a
CV.

Yes, I agree with Gordon. This has been an issue with us as well and we
would really like to have more visible tabs in a collection.

Has anyone noticed, when creating a page, that if you put a tag in
twice, the page will be created but you get an error message? I've
tested this on two accounts and it's consistent - I've been able to test
it on our own site and on a free host.
The error message is: Site
Since I received this notification yesterday, I decided to test the issue since
we have recently upgraded to 1.6 I believe it may no longer be an issue -
it's OK in Internet Explorer 8 and Firefox 19. I'll check some other browsers
and report back.

I uploaded a few images and added descriptions and tags. Descriptions
contains accented characters were fine but tags were not. If I enter
accented characters in tags and try to save, it does not move from the
page and does not save. If I remove the accented characters,

I'm not sure if this is a bug exactly, it may be by design. Since we
upgraded to 1.6, we find that, if you remove a page from a collection
and then try to share that page - on the 'Share' page, the appropriate
collection is ticked for sharing as well as the single page, even
