Hi all,
I need a way of allowing any user to run the create script but then, if they
can't supply the password, for the Create Request to workflow by email to
the administrator so they can confirm that they want the list created. Has
this been done? If not, would the modification be easy?
I've been setting up some Mailman (2.12) lists for the Board of Directors of a
national non-profit organization. The problem is, one of our key board members, the
chair of the busiest committee, isn't receiving any mail from the lists. Tried digest
and immediate delivery, no luck either way.
Hi all.
As we have many lists owned by the same list-master, up to now we've
just used the site password to moderate these lists and set up the lists
with any odl gobbledegook as the password.
Now we want to pass on the moderation to a member of staff who doesn't

Hello
I will be upgrading MM from version 2.0.13 to 2.1.2. I was interested
in how you folks handled upgrades with your users. Do you just do it?
Do you run a small test group for input? Do you provide additional
training?
It doesn't seem like a significant change to me but the powers to be
Hi,
My system is: RedHat 9.0, with mailman installed in its RedHat default
state and fully working, using sendmail - all as standard as I can
keep it.
I have added virtual domains within this default setup - all OK and

Now I am trying the 'seperate mailman

'rm' works for me.
Detailed answer:
Archives are stored in mailman-dir/archives/[public|private]/listname

Stefan,
If you turn on sending the moderators an immediate moderation message
(General Options, should the list moderators get immediate notice ...
set to Yes), then the moderators will get a copy of the message,
including any attachments.

For example:
AllBranch contains all the members in the branch
AllAgents contains all the agents
Allcompany would then be composed of allagents and allbranch
I have the other mailing lists set up as recipients for the allcompany list,

Hi,
If an administrator has multiple lists, is there a web

Hi,
Can mailman be run over nfs, with 2 servers sharing a
mailman installation?
I know there are some issues related to this... for example,
incoming messages really have to be processed by the
individual server, we don't want 2 servers working on the
same message set.
However, for lists, their
