wanted your opinions on the best MTA to use with mailman. by best I mean fastest, issues of setting up etc are not a problem. At the moment I'm using sendmail that comes with FreeBSD, although sendmail is robust it lacks some features, and is actually quite slow. I've used postfix before,

When i first created a list, i was able to subscribe through email by subscribe on the subject line. Thereafter, i was able to recieve a email to reply for conformation to be added to the list. Then i recieve a final email that it succeeded and my password in that email. I have changed

I have finally installed and setup mailman. I can subscribe and unsubscribe using the web interface. This part ask for a password when one does subscribe. When I subscribe using the email form by mailling [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the subject line containing subscribe, i recieve a message from

I run your list from sourceforge, have run it from other sites as well. Currently I want to post a small field for an email address and a Go button for ease of joining. Is there a way to do this that allows mailman to generate the password? Thanks lh
