You didn't need to dedicate an IP address. All you needed was to
replace your
lists.pinyon.org CNAME

Normally mailman wants to use URLs like http://www.domain.com/mailman .
But what I want to do is have url's that look like
http://mailman.domain.com.
So - in my config file I have:
