I got good instructions from Jackie to this question. This is for
aqua-template, but it works for others as well.
It seems all the Fusion templates assume a Overview Map widget present even
if you don't use it.
For Aqua, if you just want to hide that window on a global template level

version MapGuide 2.5.0.7449
Windows 8 x64 (have also tried on Windows Server 2008 R2 x64)
I have problem with Fusion and layers that have compound symbols or
composite line style.
If I have that kind of layers on a map and I show it with the Ajax viewer it
all works fine.
But if I use Fusion,
MapGuide Maestro 5.0 RC1 has added support for GDAL resampling method, which
is great, but the option for NEAR (or blank, to use nearest neighbour as
default) does not seem to be present.
Is this an oversight? I prefer to use nearest neighbour where possible for
the significant boost in
It's a bug.
ResamplingMethod is an *optional* connection property so there should be a
choice in the editor to omit (which I assume means to use the default).

Hi Everybody,
I've just discovered that WMS layers are not rendered at all on both:

This is the geoservice:

I saw the same problem on a customer's installation just the other day. The
problem is that ArcGis WMS servers have default maximum width/height smaller
than a 300 DPI image covering a sheet paper.
I'm not sure if there is a workaround on the MapGuide side, but if you have
access to the ArcGis
I still want the overview map.
I just want better control of the mapmenu widget.
I noticed in maestro a map path in the widget, what is it for?
