MI Change coordsys by using MapBasic

I am "cleaning up" a large database and need to change the coordsystem in several tabs. Is there an easy (mapbasic) way to do this? As far as I know I have to use the save as function and choose the correct coordsys and a different name. (Then I have to delete and rename the files in explorer.)

When MapBasic creates an MBX file, it puts a version number in the header of the file somewhere. To prevent the possibility of encountering a reference to a feature of a 'future' version, MapInfo will not run any MBX file with a version number newer than it has. Versions of MapInfo Professional
