OK, so I went and compleded the survey which
promises prizes and stuff.
The survey asks questions about what you do in GIS
what magazines you read, ect - if you tell
the truth you can answer all questions in only one way.
Afte clicking submit I got a message that I will not enter

June, you like many others seem to have been taken by a
group wanting information about GIS players in the region.
Obviously if they ask you to fill a survey---then they say you
are not eligable AFTER they get all the marketing demographic
data and your email---then they are not real.
GISdevelopment.net extends sincere apologies to those who had problems in
posting submission of the form. The root cause has been the
non-compatibility of certain Netscape version not supporting JavaScript.
Whereas the users of the Internet Explorer did not face any such problem, we

can find out the coords. However, I'm having great difficulty thinking of
how to find them if the intersection is at some arbitrary point
Hai Listers,

MapInfo V6 introduces a new tool: HTML image maps.
Has someone been able to get correct results with this tool ?
Two examples, easy to reproduce:
- open WORLD.TAB, produce HTML image maps with all defaults except "create

MapInfo included selection tools. What can you do once you have selected
some data? You can't open a browser with the selection in it.
Also has anybody ran into problems installing or running this version?

Try using the Overlay nodes command first or the intersects command, you
could even return the section inside the radius with the overlap function
and then find the end node of the segment.
hope this helps

James,
Thanks for your reply.
In fact, I have found out that MapInfo 5.5 does not
support Oracle 8.1.6.
On the other hand, after doing some testing today,
MI 6.0 supports the primitive geometry of oracle spatial 8.1.6 quite
well.
Easy loader 6.0 is working really well with MI
